GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The Plant Maintenance mechanic provides maintenance throughout the Production facility as well as doing the required inspections of equipment in the production facility. This position also requires work on diesel machinery.

Location: Albany, MN

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems.
  • Check functionality of safety systems.
  • Set up and install appliances and equipment.
  • Check control panels and electrical wiring to identify issues.
  • Duties include; mechanical, electrical, plumbing, air and hydraulic systems, problem diagnosis, and repair procedures.
  • Have knowledge of and have the appropriate license to operate boiler systems, or be willing to obtain a boiler operator license.
  • Operate/inspect overhead crane-ways.
  • Operate/inspect forklifts.
  • Inspection of travel lifts (Drotts).
  • Performs duties indoors and outdoors.
  • Follow company safety policies and procedures.
  • Accountable to practice BSP program and housekeeping in their assigned area.
  • Knowledge of Lock Out/Tag Out procedures.
  • Maintain maintenance/inspection records and assist in scheduling maintenance.

Seeking Payroll Analyst

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The payroll analyst is responsible for assisting in the payroll process for approximately 800 employees.

Location: Albany, MN

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist with processing weekly, multi-state payroll.
  • Become proficient in processing weekly payroll to provide backup in cases of scheduled or unforeseen absences by other payroll professionals.
  • Process new hire paperwork and employee changes to payroll, and enter into ERP system.
  • Enter and verify timesheets for traveling field crews, tracking state taxes for job location, and job cost information.
  • Calculate and verify per diems, based on collective bargaining agreements.
  • Certified payroll, and prevailing wage reporting.
  • Calculate and pay union fringe benefits, file union reports, and manage union audits.
  • Follow established processes to ensure system integrity, consistency, and accuracy of the payroll.
  • Continuously look for process improvements to create efficiency.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Leading a team of drafters to, on a project basis, interface with customers, sales, operations, engineering, and project management to create construction documents using CAD/Revit software. Drawing details include all views and dimensions necessary for clear and accurate presentation, fabrication and erection of precast panels and architectural systems and structures

  • Seven to ten years’ experience in drafting, with a strong preference in precast, construction and/or architectural industries, where “design and build” were critical to success.
  • Supervisory experience preferred.

  • A background in successfully interfacing with customers, engineering, operations and project management.

Seeking Operations Support Specialist

JOB SUMMARY

Location: Rosemount, MN

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Dispatch (approximately 80%) 

  • Schedule and dispatch transportation of finished goods to jobsites.
  • Heavy coordination with production, field supervisors and yard employees to ensure scheduling and dispatch occurs accurately, efficiently and timely. Coordination includes intermittent presence in the yard and interacting with yard employees.
  • Communicate with drivers regarding schedule, loads, schedule changes and route changes
  • Input and maintain accurate and timely dispatch data in the Company’s operations management IT system (Concrete Vision).
  • Regularly updating the General Manager on dispatch issues and their resolution.

Purchasing (approximately 10%)

  • Interface, on an as needed basis, with vendors who automatically replenish certain production related inventory. Also, coordinate with Albany plant procurement department on high dollar inventory (strand, lumber, etc.) to ensure Rosemount is properly equipped from a raw materials standpoint.
  • Input and maintain accurate and timely purchasing data in the Company’s operations management IT system (Navision).

Human Resources and Plant Administration (approximately 10%)

  • Answer incoming phone calls.
  • Coordinate / schedule employment activities with the temporary staffing agency (interviews, drug screens, etc.)
  • Assist in annual open enrollment process.

Assisting General Manager in tracking operating results relating to monthly plant incentive plan.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word.
  • A background in data input and retrieval utilizing enterprise resource management (ERM) systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully multi-task in a fast paced environment where priorities change quickly.

TARGETED COMPENSATION
  • Base wage = $22 to $25 / hour + incentive
ANTICIPATED SHIFT
  • 5:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Shift may be adjusted based on plant scale-up and production requirements

  • Plant is a drug-free / alcohol-free operation and submission to random drug testing is a condition of employment

Seeking Yard Supervisor/Operator

JOB SUMMARY

Location: Rosemount, MN

One positions available.

  • Operate the hollow core forklift and/or yard crane (Mi-jack) to yard and ship all precast product lines.
  • Provide day-to-day leadership of the yard operations with the goals of maximizing efficiency and safety.
  • Work with Facility Management to administer policies and to develop best practices to achieve lean manufacturing.
  • Ability to operate a number of pieces of equipment including; forklift, yard truck, man lift and having or willing to obtain the certificates needed.
  • Work with onsite administration support to coordinate dispatch operations.
SKILLS/BACKGROUND REQUIREMENTS
  • A background in successfully leading employees in day-to-day activities, including demonstrated results in promoting safety, product quality and productivity.
  • Strong attendance record.
  • Strong communications skills, have the ability to coordinate shipping and yard activities with internal dispatch and external trucking firms.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to train other employees in operating yard equipment including; forklifts, yard trucks, and yard cranes.
