The Graettinger Middle/High School location construction continues on a new addition to the south of the existing school building. The new construction includes a secure main entrance through the administration offices, a new science classroom and laboratory spaces, in addition to a new industrial technology, vocational agriculture classrooms, and laboratory spaces. The final component of the building project includes the construction of a new competition gymnasium with locker room facilities.
The proposed gym would be average for the 1A conference, seating approximately 1,000 people. A regulation gym would allow the District to host events it could not in the past, which would potentially bring more visitors to the area.
Wells worked on the gym portion of this project, providing nearly 30,000 sq. ft. of precast concrete including hollowcore and wall panels. The insulated wall panels’ façade boast a mix of Endicott thin brick and acid etch finishes.
