Tekla Modeler

LOCATION: Brighton, CO, Maple Grove, MN

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Tekla has quickly become a viable alternative to AutoDesk’s Revit. To ensure the utmost modeling efficiency, Wells is looking to expand into this software The Tekla Modeler would help spearhead Wells’ flagship Tekla initiatives. This would involve the development of a vast variety of Tekla components and related items.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and maintain Tekla components and assemblies
  • Create standard templates for various drafting deliverables
  • Aid in any external scripts that need to be developed
  • Assist in the onboarding of drafting staff to Tekla  

The Tekla Modeler will report directly to the BIM Manager.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

  • Precast concrete knowledge
  • Experience developing Tekla components and assemblies
  • Experience developing Tekla cast unit and assembly drawings
  • Basic understanding of general construction practices
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES DESIRED

  • Precast Concrete Experience
  • Communicate well with team members remotely
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to multi-task and able to work on more than one project at once

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2 year degree in a technology related field

WORKING CONDITIONS/PAY SCALE

  • General office environment
  • Occasional exposure to production and site environments
