Marketpointe Ramp II
Landlord Artis REIT has asked the City of Bloomington for permission to expand the parking ramp next to the Two MarketPointe office building to accommodate employees of anchor tenant CBRE Group.
The four-level ramp expansion would add 249 parking stalls and cost between $3 million and $4 million based on industry cost estimates. The expansion will increase the footprint by 18,294 square feet on the east side of the ramp.
Wells Concrete will use 75% of the existing spandrel panels on the east side of the ramp, and in addition will provide 163 pieces of precast concrete and will match the existing design with acid etch and broom finishes.
With reusing the spandrels on the east façade, the new acid etch spandrels on the south and north façade had to match the existing eight year old spandrels. The samples and mock-ups turned out great and the new spandrels match the existing façade perfectly utilizing a buff color, Continental limestone, and white cement.
