RB Honda on 494 Takes Shape as Precast is Installed

Construction of the new RB Honda dealership began in June 2014 with Renier Construction (Columbus, OH); Architectural Alliance (Columbus, OH) on the design side; and Shirt & O’Donovan Consulting Engineers (Worthington, OH).  Wells Concrete is producing and installing architectural and structural precast product for the new dealership facility prominently located off 494 in Richfield. The dealership announced plans for a 100,000 square foot expansion last spring that has since been dubbed the ‘jewelry box’ on 494 as it will feature a two-story ‘display case’ for eight cars visible from the freeway.

Wells Concrete began installation on the Honda project in September and anticipates completion in roughly two and a half months as the dealership looks for a Summer 2015 opening.
