The current jail in Rolette County is about 60-years-old and would have needed multi-million dollar upgrades, but instead a new facility that will hold twice as many prisoners is currently being built. With inmate counts rising, Rolette County Sheriff’s Deputies have had to house some of them in other county jails, highlighting the need for a new building.

Wells Concrete is providing 80 pieces of precast concrete, including double tees, insulated wall panels, and wall panels, for this project. The new jail is expected to be completed in October of 2017.
