Albany, Minn. (12/08/2025) – Wells, a leader in prefabricated building solutions across the United States, announced the promotion of Vanessa Loren Ramirez to Senior Vice President of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS). In this role, Ramirez is charged with supporting the company’s core value of safety. She will oversee the company’s overall safety strategy across all manufacturing facilities and field operations nationwide, ensuring a consistent, people-first safety culture.
Ramirez joined Wells in 2008 and has spent nearly two decades helping shape the company’s culture of safety and care across a variety of roles, most recently as Vice President of Human Resources. Early in her Wells career, she immersed herself in manufacturing and field operations to gain firsthand knowledge of the work and the people she now helps protect. As she takes on this key leadership role in the organization, her deep understanding of people and process gives her a unique perspective on building safe, efficient operations.
“I’ve always said I’m in the people business,” said Ramirez. “That hasn’t changed; it’s just through a different lens now. My goal is to make sure every team member feels heard, valued, and safe, and that everyone goes home safely each day. When we take care of our people, it naturally strengthens every relationship we have inside and outside the company.”
Ramirez will continue to work out of Wells’ Jacksonville, FL, office, leading a national team focused on enhancing safety practices and fostering a culture of care across the organization. Her promotion underscores Wells’ continued investment in developing leaders who embody the company’s values and help transform communities through safety, collaboration, and ingenuity.
“It’s clear during my time working with her that Vanessa is dedicated to what is best for our team,” said Dan Juntunen, CEO of Wells. “Her deep operational understanding, coupled with her people-first approach, makes her the perfect leader to guide our Environmental Health and Safety efforts as we continue to grow and elevate safety standards across the U.S.”
Before joining Wells, Ramirez held HR positions in the food manufacturing industry, where she developed a strong foundation in safety and compliance. She holds a B.S. in Human Resources from Western Governors University and a Human Resources Management Certificate from the University of Miami. Ramirez also maintains multiple safety certifications, including OSHA 10- and 30-hour. She is actively involved in industry leadership through the PCI Workforce Development Committee (Vice Chair) and as a member of the PCI Membership Experience and PCI Safety Committees.
