Achieving seamless integration.

The 250 Residences parking garage in Buffalo Grove, IL, is part of a larger redevelopment known as The Clove, a revitalization effort transforming the area into a vibrant, mixed-use destination. Serving the nearly 300 apartment units within The 250 Residences, this standalone four-level parking structure includes three supported levels and is designed to match the masonry of the adjacent apartment building. The parking structure connects to the residential building through multiple sky bridges at different levels, with openings left in the spandrels for easy integration.

A formliner was used to create simulated brick on the parking garage’s exterior, and field-stained by Nawkaw to achieve a highly realistic brick appearance. This approach offered a more durable and cost-effective solution that still maintained the aesthetic appeal. The result is a visually cohesive structure that serves the residential community without compromising on design or performance.
