Speed and scale in data center construction.

Located on a 916-acre site, this $800 million data center campus spans more than 715,000 sq ft and includes three buildings—two data centers and one administration building. Built to support advanced infrastructure needs, the center is optimized for AI workloads, playing a crucial role in powering the next generation of technologies and services. The facility brings around 100 operational jobs to the area.

Prefabricated construction played a central role in streamlining delivery and meeting the demands of a high-performance building. The entire campus utilized a prefabricated building envelope that was attached to a steel frame. Prefabrication was chosen for the campus for accelerated construction, strength, and standardization across the client’s other data centers. The Wells team installed an average of 18–20 panels per day to quickly enclose the structures and keep the project on schedule.

Comprehensive services.

In addition to the prefabricated walls, Wells’ sealants & restoration team provided all joint sealants and damp-proofing for the structures. For damp-proofing, Tremco 250 fluid-applied system was used, applied with a drain mat and 2" EPS foam board. Joints were sealed with triple-bead caulking, spray foam, and expansion joints, ensuring thermal performance and water resistance across all buildings.

The project shows the value of streamlined execution in prefab solutions for large-scale data center construction, where speed-to-market, reliable performance, and scalability are essential for meeting today’s data demands.
