Senior Vice President of Human Resources

Being named the Senior Vice President of Human Resources in 2023, Amy develops, implements, and maintains all programs associated with Human Resources. McGlothlen is passionate about engaging the workforce and attracting talent to support the continued growth of Wells. She leverages her over 20 years’ experience and Professional in HR (PHR) certification in the role.

Vice President of Sales - Great Lakes

Auggy began his career in 1996 as an engineering manager and pulls experience from his time outside the industry as a real estate preconstruction manager to lend a unique insight to any challenge he faces. He uses his technical, development, and construction experience to provide inventive building solutions for his clients and their communities.

Chief Executive Officer

Dan was named Chief Executive Officer in 2011. He is responsible for all phases of the organization, including six production facilities and multiple in-house field crews along with Operations, Sales & Marketing, Corporate Services and Product Development. Dan has served in various leadership capacities with the Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute (PCI) and as Chairman in 2017.

Vice President of Sales - Mountain States

Dan started his career in precast in 1990. With most of his time spent in Preconstruction Services and Sales, he’s helped establish multiple plants domestically. He is LEED® AP, a past president of PCI Mountain States Region, former member of the board for PCI National, and holds Quality Control Personnel Certifications levels I, II, and III from PCI.

President | COO - GATE Precast

Dean has been the President and COO of GATE Precast for over 15 years, successfully guiding the company to become an industry leader in architectural and structural building solutions. Dean applies his expertise from his 40+ years in the precast industry, leading eight manufacturing facilities and servicing over 20 states. He holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Troy University and serves on the Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute (PCI) Board of Directors.

President - Midwest

Greg has been with Wells since 2011 and was named the President of Wells Midwest in 2021. In this role, he leads the organization in strategic initiatives, revenue growth, operational and financial performance, safety and quality. In his current role, he applies a deep understanding of prefabrication operational processes from his prior position as Vice President of Operations. He is an active advisory board member for the St. Cloud Rox Community Foundation and holds a master’s degree in executive leadership from St. Cloud State University.

Chief Legal & Safety Officer

As Chief Legal & Safety Officer, Jennifer establishes Wells’ legal and safety standards. She goes beyond meeting industry regulations to set new benchmarks in the industry, working towards ultimately shaping a safer and more sustainable future in construction. She is committed to integrity and continuous improvement and is deeply passionate about fostering diversity, maintaining safety and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. As a first-generation American and the first in her family to graduate from college, Jennifer strives to be an ally for everyone in the company and an example of what perseverance and resilience can create.

Senior Vice President | CSO

Kimberly was named the Senior Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer in 2021. She is responsible for leading our facades team, new product development, and marketing and communications – identifying opportunities to drive out inefficiency in the build process to better serve our partners. She has over 20 years of marketing and business leadership experience.

President of Real Estate Development

As SVP of Real Estate development, Mike supports Wells’ U.S. real estate strategy, collaborating with developers to understand the needs of the real estate market to develop a portfolio of development opportunities. He has been with Wells for more than 31 years, most recently as Mountain States President and COO, and brings over 15 years of experience in real estate.

Vice President of Sales - Midwest

Mike has been with Wells for over 20 years and was named Vice President of Sales – Midwest in 2023. Mortensen is responsible for sales and business development overseeing the states of Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri, North Dakota and South Dakota; setting sales strategies, while leading a team of sales and estimating professionals. Mike began his career with Wells in 2000.

Senior Vice President | Chief Engineer

As Chief Engineer, Ryan oversees Wells drafting and engineering for all geographic regions, shaping Wells’ engineering philosophy while also working closely with internal and external partners to ensure projects are delivered to expectations. His career began in 1990, and he brings a wide skillset from his roles as field services engineer, design engineer, and senior project manager, as well as seven years as a consulting engineer. Ryan holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of North Dakota.

Senior Vice President | CFO

Ryan joined Wells in 2011 and was named Chief Financial Officer in 2013. He focuses much of his effort on centralizing the accounting and finance functions of the company, and recently migrated two separate companies to one legal entity. He also focuses on labor efficiency and lean initiative in the production environment.

Chairman | Executive Vice President

Sam has been with Wells since 2008 and has served as Chairman on the Board of Directors since 2017. Sam has worked in sales, estimating, and project management, bringing a wide skillset to his current position. He served in the Navy on Active Duty from 1999-2008 and as a Selected Reservists from 2009-2013. Sam retired as a Lieutenant Commander in 2020.

Scott is President - Great Lakes for Wells. He leads strategic initiatives, revenue growth, operational and financial performance, safety and quality. He has over 25 years’ experience and is SPHR and Behavioral Analyst certified. He is on boards for Governors Council on Workforce Investment, Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce and PCI-IW Chapter.

President - Mountain States

Steve has been with Wells for almost 30 years and was named President – Mountain States in 2023. Steve provides leadership for all areas including preconstruction, engineering, operations and field and installation services, leveraging and developing regional leadership with responsibility for growth and performance of the Mountain States region.
