Wells Concrete provided nearly 13,000 sq. ft for the Yellow Medicine East High School gym addition, using Fagen’s crane and operator for the project. The exterior façade included 54 pieces of insulated architectural wall panels (12”x10”) with a sandblast finish, them mix color was chosen to closely complement existing school. Wells used a very unique formliner to showcase the school mascot, the intricate logo forming had various finish textures for contrasting surfaces.
Jennifer Quintero, Clay Miller, Chas Jacobson, and the ops team, did a great job of drafting and manipulating the little details of the logos.
Yellow Medicine East High School is a small town high school located in Granite Falls, Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota. As of the 2009-2010 academic year, the school had 263 students. The school mascot is the “Sting,” which resembles the Georgia Tech Yellow Jacket.
