BelGioioso Cheese Brine Building Addition

A multi-stage expansion.

As BelGioioso Cheese continues to expand their operations, the decision was made to increase size and space at their Cheese Brine Facility in Freedom, WI. The new food packaging facility provides safety, space and durability for their commercial operations. While the use of precast sped up the construction process, it also provided an ideal environment for food packaging facilities. Wells’ wall panels and hollowcore provide a clean indoor environment that meets stringent USDA requirements and withstands wash-down processes. In addition, the structural systems, support long open spaces for warehouse and work areas to accommodate large food processing equipment.

The design flexibility of matching existing exterior finishes with the ability to accommodate future facility growth are key factors for the continued relationship with Wells and BelGioioso The versatility of Wells precast concrete allowed this multi-stage expansion to stay on track and on time all the way through a harsh Wisconsin winter and unpredictable spring.
