Wells’ Products Development Team continues to travel around the country providing education on our latest integrated enclosure system. Interest in these new products is growing in the A/E/C market, just in the last six months, our team has provided weekly presentations on the benefits and features of these integrated enclosure systems.
Our most recent lightweight wall panel project uses more than 2,500 SF of SlenderWall; Wells is currently producing and erecting nearly 5,000 SF of precast for the Mayo Clinic Health System addition in Austin, MN. The expansion project is currently in its first of six construction phases that will finish the transition of inpatient services from Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea to Austin’s campus.
The $11.2 million investment will create a third-floor Family Birth Center and a two-story connection between the main clinic entrance and the hospital. Renovations will also include expanded waiting spaces for families in the family birth center and the remodeled medical-surgical unit, expected to be completed by next summer and late 2020 respectively.
